What is the process like?

After consulting with our OB/GYN Dr. Rastegar, we will schedule your first of three treatments. diVa laser is quick procedure with minimal discomfort. A topical anesthetic is applied prior to your treatment. You may experience slight pressure against the vaginal wall and increased sensitivity near the vaginal opening. During the diVa treatment this Hybrid Fractional Laser is delivering two laser beams at once to the wall of the vaginal canal for a synergistic effect. The first laser deeply resurfaces the tissue layers, replacing it with healthy tissue and the second heats the layers where collagen exists to stimulate new growth.

What to expect after my treatment?

You may return to your daily activity with minimal discharge, spotting, or discomfort; however, you should avoid intercourse or vaginal insertion (use of tampon) for up to 48 hours. In more progressive treatments, Dr. Rastegar may suggest a longer time frame.

Can the diVa be done with another procedure?

Absolutely, the PRP Pleasure Shot! This injection of platelet rich plasma (PRP) uses your own blood to further enhance collagen production and stimulate growth factors. When combined with the diVa laser treatment, PRP therapy will maximize your results with the diVa and also have the added benefit of reigniting desire, increasing your natural lubrication, and enhancing orgasm.
